Yeah, so I done went an skipped a few days.... I'll get ta them later.
Fer this one, I decided ta do a futuristic approach of somepony coming into a room of a museum(perhaps in ruins) where statues had been carved of the Mane Six, honoring them as the Bearers of the Elements of Harmony.
Still a wip, and probably will be fer a while, but I do feel like gettin' back ta this at somepoint....
Mane Six (c) Studio B
Time needs ta be made fer it though....
.... wonder if'n I can fit it in my Thursday slot....
This... took my breath away, it's glorious. Absolutely beautiful.
My only critique is, if that design is painted on a flat ceiling, it seems to be missing perspective depth.
It almost looks a floating object in the middle of the room. It would seem too circular for the angle I see it at. Something more oval would better suit, similar to the oval shaped columns just below the Mane6.
All I would do is scale/squish the ceiling design to half it's current height, move to the top of the picture, and extend the vertical lines beneath it to meet the flattened ceiling design.
